Since the inception of The Links Trust in 1974, the past 50 years has been as important as any other period in the history of St Andrews links, with significant development and growth in the global renown and its golf courses. St Andrews Links Trust commissioned me to produce this 96-page celebratory brochure, written by local author and golf historian, Roger McStravick, that looks back on its achievements, present developments and future challenges.
